Paul Giessner is a 2024 Candidate for Livingston County Commissioner, District #5 (City of Howell and Marion Township). Paul grew up in Saint Joseph, Michigan before attending the University of Michigan where he earned degrees in electrical engineering and musical arts, and met his wife, Ali. Since graduating, Paul has focused his career in the energy industry. His current position is as a power systems engineer working on grid energy storage systems. Paul, Ali, and their two dogs (Daisy and Dax) moved to Howell a few years ago after their time in Washington, DC left them craving nature and the connection of a small community that they loved in Michigan. Paul loves to find ways to share his time and talents with his community, and running for county commissioner is the next step in this journey.
