Think meditation is only for monks on mountaintops or people who can sit still for hours without thinking about snacks, to-do lists, what’s for dinner, or their ex? Good news: it’s not! Kristin Gubala will facilitate these mindfulness and meditation sessions for the rest of us - the fidgety, the skeptical, the easily distracted, the stressed out, the recovering, the curious. Whether you’ve never meditated before or tried and thought, “I’m just not good at this,” you’re in the right place. If you're a regular meditator, you're in the right place too as each session will bring different ideas to integrate into your practice.
Through these sessions, you'll experience practical approaches to developing your own approach to mindfulness and meditation that will help you come back to your body, your breath, and the present moment. No incense, no judgment. This is a safe, welcoming space to meet yourself as you are. Bring your curiosity. Leave the perfectionism at the door. We encourage you to participate comfortably - chairs are available; if you prefer, bring your own yoga mat or blanket. Please bring water.
