"Shine Your Light" Women's Empowerment Event Comes to the Howell Opera House October 21

Local designer and confidence coach team up for an evening on stepping fully into who you already are

HOWELL, Mich. — Beth Smith, couture designer and fit specialist behind Beth Smith Couture, is teaming up with Jason Tracey of Roar Consulting to host Shine Your Light, a women's empowerment event at the Howell Opera House on October 21 from 7 to 9 PM.

The event is built around a simple idea: that the woman most people are looking for, confident, powerful, ready to take up space, is usually already there. She's just been waiting for permission to walk back into the room.

"It starts with a hemline, a neckline," said Smith, who has spent her career helping women see themselves in a new way through fit and design. "And it ends somewhere far more powerful."

Tracey will speak on his Difference Maker philosophy, challenging attendees to stop playing small and step fully into the impact they were created to make. Smith will speak on how what a woman wears can be the easiest first step toward the confidence she's looking for, and will debut a new piece she designed for the evening alongside several pieces from a past collection.

Organizers expect 100 to 150 women to attend. Tickets are $50 and available at https://roar.consulting/shine-your-light.
