This position schedules and coordinates shift coverage for our caregivers and clients. Shift flexibility and availability are required as we pride ourselves on being there for others and our team. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal in an effective, pleasant manner with staff, clients, and customers are crucial.
Duties of the Home Health Care Coordinator:
- Addresses and handles client or caregiver issues or concerns as they arise
- Makes necessary arrangements to provide backup coverage in the event a caregiver does not report for their scheduled shift
- Responsible for maintaining and monitoring client/caregiver files, billing for clients, quarterly reports, and payroll
- Responsible for immediate reporting and subsequent documentation of any events pertaining to caregivers and/or clients (i.e. injuries, grievances, potential/actual rights violations, etc.)
Requirements of the Home Health Care Coordinator:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, human services, or related field preferred and/or equivalent experience.
- High level of interpersonal skills, leadership, and adaptability
- Able to lift, turn, and transfer clients with or without accommodations
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
