EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST SUPERVISOR
Do you enjoy working with young people and helping them to succeed? Work Skills Corporation is seeking an Employment Specialist Supervisor to lead our youth services program to help young individuals with barriers learn valuable job skills in the community. This role involves training and providing oversight to staff, including intake personnel and contract clinicians, while collaborating with Walled Lake School Consolidated District, summer youth programs, and multidisciplinary teams to meet the program objectives.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• Train, assign work, and provide supervision to job mentors to ensure quality service delivery aligned with best practices and program needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and referral sources to develop and implement individualized service plans, ensuring continuity of care and addressing the needs of youth participants.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, provide consultation on participant services, and act as a liaison to resolve service-related issues with outside agencies or providers.
• Develop crisis plans for youth participants and apply high-risk protocols as necessary to ensure safety and consistency in care.
• Maintain organized and accurate participant records, ensuring compliance with agency policies and service documentation standards.
• Monitor program resources while ensuring service delivery aligns with evidence-based models and performance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in rehabilitation or a related human service field is desired. Neat appearance, pleasant outgoing personality, strong interpersonal skills, and the confidence to interact comfortably in business environments are a must.
• Bachelor’s degree in a human service field is required. Master’s degree preferred.
