Work Skills Corporation Invites Community to WSC Artisan Corner Holiday Art Walk

Saturday, November 14, 2026 | 12:00–4:00 p.m. Work Skills Corporation | 100 Summit Street, Brighton

Work Skills Corporation (WSC) invites the community to celebrate the start of the holiday season with local art, meaningful gifts and plenty of creativity at the WSC Artisan Corner Holiday Art Walk, taking place Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Work Skills Corporation, 100 Summit Street in Brighton.

The annual Holiday Art Walk is a chance to shop local, meet talented artists and discover gifts that come with a story. Visitors can browse an inviting collection of original artwork created by Artisan Corner artists, including paintings, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, resin art, mixed-media pieces and other one-of-a-kind finds.

More than a holiday shopping event, the Art Walk is also an opportunity to experience the creativity and community at the heart of Artisan Corner.

Artisan Corner is Work Skills Corporation’s art program, providing artists with disabilities and other barriers opportunities to explore their creativity, develop their talents, build confidence and earn income through the sale of their artwork. The program offers an inclusive, supportive environment where artists are celebrated for their abilities, creativity and individual artistic expression.

And every purchase makes a personal impact. Income from each piece sold through Artisan Corner goes directly to the artist or artists who created it. That means holiday shoppers can bring home something truly unique while directly supporting a local artist and their creative work.
Today, Artisan Corner supports 68 active artists, several of whom have earned recognition both locally and beyond. In 2025, Artisan Corner artists Liz, Austin and Roy captured attention at ArtPrize in Grand Rapids with their collaborative pointillism piece, Einstein. Their work finished in the Top 20 out of 1,103 entries in the People’s Choice vote — an exciting recognition of the talent found within the Artisan Corner community.

The Holiday Art Walk is a chance to see that talent firsthand. Visitors can meet the artists, hear more about their work and discover how creative expression can open doors to confidence, connection and opportunity for individuals with disabilities.
Whether you’re searching for a special holiday gift, hoping to support local artists or simply looking for a festive way to spend a Saturday afternoon, everyone is welcome to stop by, explore and celebrate the season with Artisan Corner.
