Join the homecoming festivities at Cleary on Oct. 11

(HOWELL, MI) Cleary University will celebrate its annual homecoming with plenty of fun for the entire family! Students, parents, siblings, families, alumni and the entire community are invited to enjoy the festivities Saturday, Oct. 11 on the Livingston campus in Howell.

 
Cleary’s hockey team will host a special tailgate party at 11 am at 140 Ice Den, right next door to Cleary’s campus. Enjoy lunch, refreshments, games, prizes and raffles before the team competes against Aquinas College at 12:30 pm. A special puck drop will start the game. Spectators can enjoy a sled race competition between periods.
 
The Red Party begins at 2 pm at Cleary Commons. Bring the entire family and dress in your red attire! The kids will have plenty of activities to enjoy including caricature drawings, rock wall climbing and carnival games that include ring toss, dart balloons, chipping, count the candy in the jar, and knock-down the cans.
 
For adult entertainment, Cleary will feature a mechanical bull, a Velcro wall and axe throwing.
 
Food trucks, including Hallboy Barbecue, Sup Dog, Cool Jacks and Shawarma Chef will serve food for purchase until 7 pm. A beer and wine cash bar is open from 2 pm to 7 pm inside Cleary Commons.
 
Local radio station WHMI will rock the box with music all afternoon!
 
Tailgaters are welcome to cheer on the Cleary Cougars women’s and men’s soccer teams who will play at Lake Trust Stadium on Cleary’s campus. The women will face Rochester Christian at 4 pm, followed by the men playing Rochester Christian at 7 pm. Admission is free to all tailgaters. Half time features fun competitions.
