LACASA Hosts Annual Starry Night Toy Drive to Bring Joy to Children in Need
Howell, MI – LACASA, a nonprofit dedicated to providing hope and healing for victims of interpersonal violence, is hosting its annual
Starry Night Toy Drive to help make the holidays brighter for local children in need. The toy drive runs now through
December 8, giving individuals and businesses an opportunity to donate new, unwrapped toys and gift cards for to children and teens at LACASA Center.
The toys collected through the drive will ensure every child and teen in LACASA’s programs receives a gift this holiday season. LACASA clients are victims and survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual violence. Donated toys and gift cards are provided for youth who are living in LACASA’s Crisis Shelter and LACASA’s Transitional Supportive Housing units, as well as those receiving services at LACASA’s Children’s Advocacy Center or LACASA counseling progams.
“Our Starry Night Toy Drive is a way to bring joy and light into the lives of children who need it most,” said LACASA President and CEO Bobette Schrandt. “With the support of our generous community, we can make this holiday season brighter for families facing difficult situations and ensure that children at LACASA feel the warmth and care of those around them.”

- Arts supplies (coloring & drawing books, colored pencils & pens)
- Puzzle books
- Self-care supplies
- Infant/toddler toys & books
- Board games & card games
