Livingston County Consortium on Aging Announces Fall Grant Cycle
The Livingston County Consortium on Aging announces its fall grant cycle for nonprofits serving seniors in Livingston County. Grants are awarded to organizations and programs that positively impact seniors in the community through one or more of the following focus areas: 
  • Active Aging
  • Aging in Place
  • Community Engaging Seniors
  • Community Infrastructure
Since 2009, the LCCOA has granted nearly $130,000 to local organizations serving seniors. The LCCOA utilizes proceeds from two long-standing events, the  Aging Parent Resource Fair (formerly Caregiver Fair) and the Livingston County Senior Celebrations, to provide these grants to Livingston County organizations serving older adults.
Grant applicants may request up to $2,000 during this cycle. Prior grantees are required to submit a report before applying for another grant. The Livingston County Consortium on Aging provides collaboration, advocacy and communication between agencies and persons concerned with the provision of services to all aging adults in Livingston County, Michigan.
